Prospect - San Andreas

I had great hopes, but I was underwhelmed. it was a business dinner, so no skin of my return, but I would have been very disappointed to foot the bill on my own. the menu was promising not yet reached the taste front.

Previously, to visit often a few years ago withdrawing the city the riders are still amazing, but the other dishes I tried last night were disappointing. not bad in itself, but certainly not the great taste combos as before. quite moderate and for the price not worth it. it sounds like they've recently reopened, so maybe only a few kinks to work through. service was also a miss that hostes were the best though!

Haven't been back since Covid, was delighted with service, food, all! Everyone was so friendy, even though Kathy wasn't present!

First time dining at Prospect and will definitely return. Good menu, well presented, interesting food and overall exceeded our expectations. Cocktails were maybe trying too hard. The Negroni with chocolate infused mezcal didn't work. Atmosphere was good and 4 of us could easily chat.

Service was professional but a little slow to start. The squash blossoms were unremarkable, a wee bland and overly cheesy. The little gems salad was one of the best I have ever had. The lettuce was fantastic and the dressing was deelish. My pork chop was cooked perfectly and was not overly sweet despite the presence of fruit. The heirloom apples were just the right amount of tart. The crispy skin salmon was cooked as ordered and was moist and fresh yes, the skin was crispy. The room is pretty but meh. I hate the overhead light fixtures but that's just me. Place was lively especially for a Monday night. I'm a fan.
