Írjon visszajelzéstWe liked this place so much that we visited several times during our stay in Cholula. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.
We went to Colibri Restaurant on Saturday night. The restaurant is located (in contrast to the map of Tripadvisor in the 'Portales' at the main square (Zocalo), where a concert took place when we were there. We came and were lucky to find a free table. We ordered drinks while we waited for friends to come. After we got the drinks and already ordered a few foods, the manager came and asked us to go. They told us the table was reserved and we couldn't stay there anymore. We explained that no one told us that the table was reserved (no card shows this, and the waiter took our order! . We could finally stay there, but the food came very slowly. A friend had to wait about 1.5 hours to get a sandwich, although we have asked for it many times!!! Of course it was an extremely busy night due to the concert, but the way the staff manipulated the situation was really bad. Unfortunately, this is not the first negative experience with the service. We came here once and brought all the coffee as an ice cream coffee, although we ordered the hot version. The bad service is very regrettable because the food (both coffee and the crepes are really good. So if you want to have a good coffee or crepes and don't worry about a bad service, that's definitely a good place. If you take care of the service, I suggest you find another place.
We stumbled in this place with good luck, it is the rainy season here in the center of Mexico and a storm began to bear on us, so we ran for cover directly in front of the Zocolo in San Pedro Cholula. The manager of Cafe Colibri invited us during the raincover for coffee or tea. We liked to take the tea we both ordered was great. The store manager was very warm and welcoming and he spoke English very well. He even gave us some tips on where to go and what to do in town. The pastries are very nice and I have heard breakfast and coffee is also. The café also has a great atmosphere and mood.
