Grill-a-burger - San Angelo

I attempted to place a to-go order 10 times within 45 minutes, but the restaurant was extremely busy. It's frustrating to order anything, especially since the drive-thru service is also very slow.

I usually can't be satisfied, but I had a double meat cheeseburger that I couldn't finish because it was unbelievably delicious. The tater tots were perfectly crunchy as well—10/10!

They crafted a burger that no fast food chain could replicate; it's really true what they say about supporting local businesses.

I often visit Grill a Burger because their steak fingers remind me of the old Charcoal House. When I went in for lunch, I asked if we could have our food in to-go containers since we were short on time, but we were dining in. The waitress processed our order as takeout. I also requested a large water with our meal, and she handed me a large to-go cup. After receiving my water, I checked the receipt and noticed an additional charge of $2.49. When I asked the waitress about it, she explained that it was for the large to-go cup. I reminded her that we were dining in, but she insisted it had to be recorded as to-go. Are you serious? I think I'll just learn to make my own steak fingers from now on. This place is already overpriced as it is—such a disappointment! SMH.

Terrible service. Ordered 2 hotdogs 2 hamburgers. Hamburgers came out told it would be a min for the hotdogs. Fast forward to hamburgers almost done being ate. We was informed they didn’t have hotdog buns.
