Sit down, put back type of environment. Land feel for Decora. Many large seating areas for non-cracked seats also with a group. Service was real and what you would expect from a ma and pa shop. The food was unique in its own way, all original from the Paz saddle. The meat was tender, juicy, smokey and literally mouth irrigation for the first 3 bites minimum. GREAT texas leaf cake for desert, that was every bit the same mouth water experience. Excellent work!

This was mine and my husband's first time here. He was there before, but it was forever. We loved it. The brisket was soft and tasty, Mac and cheese was great. They had some fried potato balls that were great. I had a chicken strip sandwich that was the best I ever had. Very recommended

If you are going through, this is worth the 4-minute detour from the highway. Amazing BBQ, welcoming and friendly staff. We had the Texas Toastmelt and The Saddle. Totally recommended. Don't miss this real Texas hospitality and food! Super clean and beautifully decorated toilets also.

I?ve been enjoying the best BBQ in Texas at this wonderful clean and friendly place for 22 years. It?s family run and they take tremendous pride in the quality of their food and service. The hometown atmosphere adds to the enjoyment. Friendly people and an excellent, affordable dining experience.

Surf and turf with green beans and Mac. Fried fish with brisket. Beans and Mac are way better than expected. Fish was excellent and tarter sauce seemed homemade because it was great also. Hush puppies had enough tang to tickle your senses. They were great! Would rate this a 4.6 star. Friendly staff and swift. The reason for not giving a full 5 star is the brisket was not up to par. Brisket seemed a little tough and a little dry. Flavor was ok but their BBQ sauce was quite tasty. Will try again and I do recommend.
