Embers Wood Fire Grill - San Antonio

Great food whoever their chef is knows what he's doing. Definitely recommend this restaurant very friendly staff.

I enjoyed the Chicken Fried Chicken, the lunch portion. It tasted good and was a decent serving. During the lunch hour, it didn't have many people. Good place to go and have a conversation. The waitress were nice and came by to check on us.

1st I want to say our waitress was amazing! Her kindness was needed. We had a death in the family and after everything settled we decided to eat. I’m glad we choose here. The service was 100% the food was great, and even the bartender gave us his condolences. Not knowing who we were or what happen the kindness that was shown to us was 100% heartwarming. At this point we have been here twice. The first time I got the porkchops with mashed potatoes, very good. The second time I got the twelve ounce ribeye with a baked potato and my Wife got a chicken with a mushroom sauce on it with the mashed potatoes, my Wife asked me if I wanted to try her chicken, so I did and then I got some of those mashed potatoes in my mouth and instantly regretted my baked potato, I'm not saying the baker was bad, I'm just saying those mashed potatoes are really good. There house wine is Josh, which I think is a medium to premium wine for a house wine, well I liked it anyway. When you walk in to the restaurant it smells like smoke and cooking meat, you know like the kind you wanna eat, so good, we will be going back. Everyone on both occasions were very nice and accommodating. Go get some good food.

Always a great place to grab lunch. I tried the flounder with lemon cream sauce and it was delicious. We also ordered a sausage, pepperoni and extra cheese pizza. As usual, it was perfect.
