Sazon Mexican Cafe - San Antonio

We have high standards when it comes to Menudo Barbacoa, but after trying this place, we were truly impressed! The food was fresh and delicious, the tortillas were incredibly soft, and the coffee was excellent! The only downside was that the sweet tea was overly sweet and a bit watery, but that’s easily adjustable. I will definitely recommend this restaurant to family and friends! Plus, our waitress was fantastic! Thank you!

I have been there many, many times, for breakfast and for lunch. Never had a bad meal. Great tortillas. I have a new breakfast taco favorite...The Raffa! The mole is tasty with a hint of sweetness. if they sold that sauce by the bucket, I would buy it. and the service is great. The waitstaff, all, help each other with tables. so you are always being checked on. great experience!

Our daughter and her family were here visiting. Their request was to eat at Sazon Mexican Cafe while here. As always the food was beautifully prepared and delicious! We had a range of breakfast items. Each was well prepared and instantly consumed. Our granddaughters even wear their Sazon tee shirts around their hometown in Ohio.

Absolutely fantastic food and service! I’ve been there three times over the years, and it has never failed to impress. The portions are generous, and my waiter went above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of. As a pregnant woman, I can be a bit particular, but he accommodated all my requests with a smile. We visited on Sunday during the peak lunch hour, around 1-2 PM, and I have zero complaints. It's been a while since I experienced such attentive service and enjoyed my meal this much, especially during pregnancy when my taste buds and hormones can be unpredictable. I was genuinely impressed by everything; I couldn't find anything to complain about. Once again, I left speechless, and I feel a bit sorry for my husband since I’ll be asking him to bring me back more often! But he won’t mind, as he was equally pleased with the food and service. Thank you once again for the amazing food and incredible service!

The BEST! Trust me, I’ve experienced traditional Mexican food from Nuevo Laredo, Monterrey, and San Luis Potosí to Agua Caliente and Mexico City, not to mention fresh seafood from the Pacific in Acapulco. And the cooks? They were my aunts who followed recipes passed down from their mothers. The true test for any Mexican restaurant, in my opinion, is the rice. If the rice is good, then you know the rest of the food will be as well. That’s the very first thing I tried when I visited Sazón. And let me tell you, the rice was fantastic! If it's your first time there, I recommend ordering the cilantro enchiladas with a cup of tortilla soup. You'll thank me later!
