Wonderfully presented, carefully prepared dishes, and cheerfully served by experienced staff with an Incredible ambience would enlighten any conversation! I came back in today (a monthly later) with my family, again the superb services with discreetness. The porto list completed night, perfectly! Most recommended for anyone to give a go!

After a two year hiatus, the Silo Alamo Heights, reopened. Not, the same ‘great find’ it once was unfortunately. Whilst service was outstanding and food excellent. Something is missing. That special ambiance. Sad to see such a former gem, fizzle into a not so special place. The valet parking has always been an issue as you are subjected to being attacked as you pull in and then pressured into participation. Host two completely different restaurants in one building La Fogata on the lower level has made this a confusing proposition. The Mexican themed restaurant is obviously the spearhead now of this locale. Not, so, sure, I’ll be back, the once amazing restaurant is now offering a limited option featured menu in dimly lit confused space. Understandably, things must change; unfortunately, not always for the better.

The appetizers were outstanding. Oysters are still perfect. The scallops were perfectly cooked and the carrot special was perfect. The service is working itself out, with new and inexperienced staff, but the managers took up the slack and pitched in. Overall, looking forward to a return trip.

Such a wonderful place! Everything on the menu is delicious. The wine is reasonably priced and the service is barn on the best! Recommended for any occasion
