Hashes Brews - San Bruno

I have been a fan of this restaurant for a long time. I appreciate that they open early, which is great for getting food after my night shift. The hashes are amazing and the Reuben sandwich is delicious, even for breakfast! I highly recommend trying the Cinnamon Roll Pancakes as a sweet treat with your meal. Overall, Hashes and Brews is definitely one of my favorite places to eat.

The Reuben sandwich was incredibly tasty and reminded me of the ones I used to enjoy in Texas. The cheesecake was also fantastic! Overall, I really enjoyed dining at this restaurant.

To start, the fries were limp and lacked any seasoning or taste. They were reminiscent of chewing on cardboard. As for the Philly cheesesteak shown in the photo, it was predominantly bread. This would have been acceptable if the bread was crispy or not soggy, but unfortunately it was just plain and unappetizing. The steak was lacking in flavor. The onions were the highlight because they added some much-needed taste, although I personally am not a fan of onions. Overall, not a satisfying dining experience.

I ordered Biscuit Gravy and it was delicious. Perfectly cooked gravy and the biscuit was nice warm and soft. Truly a good starter for me. I also ordered the Chipotle Chicken Sandwich and I was disappointed. My chicken wasn apos;t cooked all the way and it had no flavor. I love coming to hashes and brews, it apos;s one of my favorites really, but this really disappointed me and I don apos;t think I apos;ll have lunch from here for a while. I do recommend the waffles though, they apos;re delicious.

Very good portions. Only complaint is meat was a little dry for my liking..
