Classics Malt Shop - San Diego

The only complaint I have is that the service was almost too attentive. I visited during a quiet time, so I can only imagine how it might feel during a busy period. Overall, it's definitely worth a visit!

I really liked it. The burger and fries were quite good, and the staff was friendly. The place was also clean.

After a wonderful day soaking up the beautiful San Diego sun, I highly recommend visiting Midway Classic Malt Shop. The staff here is fantastic! We found parking easily, and as soon as we stepped inside, we were warmly welcomed. Everyone was incredibly friendly, and the food was fresh, quick, and absolutely delicious. There’s a wide variety of food and drink options, all at very reasonable prices. They even have a kids' menu! The milkshakes are delightful too, and there's enough to share. It was a perfect dining experience to cap off a long day. Thank you all!

Stumbled across this gem while running errands and WOW! So glad I did. I felt like I was stepping back in time in the best way. Fantastic burger, quality ingredients, and the best onion rings I have had in years. 10/10 HIGHLY recommend!!!

Last burger in the USA before moving overseas. Best burger/burger experience I've had. Service was top notch, the counter person (who I belive was the owner) offered my kids free ice cream after their meal and all of the staff were all around the nicest people. Had the double stack burger that did not skimp and was on point. Fries might have been the best I've ever had. Homemade ranch was amazing. Wish I could have found this earlier but we'll be back in 3 years!
