Fish District - San Diego

The chowder was good, which is why I gave them a score of 3. Unfortunately, the sandwich was terrible. The bread was soggy, as if it had been made a long time ago.

The SALMON KALE bowl was outstanding! Very satisfying, food quality was very good just like I was eat there.

I had the catch of the day, which was mahi mahi served with rice and asparagus, and it was very good! However, while the shrimp ceviche was tasty, I don’t think it's worth the price for such a small serving. The portions used to be much larger, and they now just put the lime on top in a separate packet, which means you get less ceviche overall. I probably won’t buy it again.

I ordered the blackened seared ahi bowl and the bread pudding, and both dishes were fantastic. I would definitely recommend them!

CATCH OF THE DAY PLATE... perfectly cooked salmon and the caper sauce is super yummy! PORTOBELLO "FRIES" ... a must have. everytime.
