Leona's Cucina Italiana - San Diego

I really like this restaurant; I've ordered from them before and enjoyed the food, but I usually have it delivered. This time, I decided to order online and noticed there was a discount available. I placed my order and went to pick it up. However, they charged me without applying the discount, making my total higher than what was indicated on my online receipt. When I mentioned this to the lady at the front, she told me they didn’t have my order in the system, but that the food was ready. It was confusing because, when she recreated my order in their system, they ended up charging me even more than what was on the online receipt.

I ordered a pizza at 8:05 PM and was given a delivery estimate of 8:51 PM. After being informed multiple times that the driver was "on his way," the pizza finally arrived at 9:41 PM, after I had already requested to cancel my order twice. This means the food must have been sitting in the car for at least an hour. We refused the delivery but were only offered a 50% refund, which was quite disappointing. Overall, I would rate the service 1 out of 5.

Pizza was good, but the customer service even better. There was a mistake in which I was charged twice. I ordered and paid online. when I picked up my order, I was charged again. (I forgot that I already paid). I discovered this a week later and went back with my receipts. The guy was cool about it and gave me my refund without any issues. I know a lot of businesses would've gave me problems. I'll go there again.

Ordered take out from them, and everything was delicious. The pesto was awesome, and the lasagna was too. Even the minestrone was awesome.
