Írjon visszajelzéstI've been coming here for years, and I'll definitely keep returning! The owner is a very down-to-earth person. It's the best quick Filipino food you can find!
The Tapsilog meat was a bit dry—maybe that’s how it’s meant to be? The rice didn’t have enough garlic flavor, but the dressing was excellent! Unfortunately, the Loco Burger didn’t impress me; the patty was dry, and there just wasn’t enough gravy. If the restaurant is concerned about making the rice too soggy, it might be a good idea to serve the gravy in a separate container, like Jollibee does. The Adobo Bowl was great overall, but it lacked vegetables. A few pieces of broccoli or some pickled onions would have been a lovely addition! On the service front, the wait was quite long; we waited about 30 minutes for our food on a Saturday night. So, I would definitely recommend ordering ahead if you can. Overall, this place has a lot of potential to be a wonderful restaurant. I just hope the execution improves a bit!
As a coconut lover, I couldn't resist the Buko Pandan for dessert. It was light and delicious, yet indulgent, with the portion size just right. The prices are very reasonable, especially given the generous portions; I actually had enough leftover for breakfast and a late lunch/early dinner! I’m eager to go back and try the chicken karaage next. The staff were exceptional—very friendly—and our food came out promptly, even with a busy crowd. Be sure to add Oi Asian Fusion to your list of places to visit!
I’m so happy with this meal! The store is at Carmel Mountain Plaza, nice spot! It’s very cute inside, feels very artistic and cozy. I ordered a crawfish bowl, Dynamite sweet potato fries and a bottle of apple juice. I never had a bowl like that and it is soooooo delicious, surprisingly the crawfish goes so well with rice with their sauce, which I tasted eel sauce and some mayo. I highly recommend this. The Dynamite sweet potato fries is also a must have, the sweet potatoes are fried perfectly and the sauce is delicious. I definitely highly recommend this place. Plus their service is very friendly.
Lunch during the workday. It can be such a welcome respite from the madness. Before I transitioned into retirement it was about way more than just grabbing a bite to eat for me. When properly observed it was a time to recharge and prepare for the unknown challenges coming my way before I could eventually leave for home.If I had @oiasianfusion available to me back in those days I know that I would have loved coming here to seek lunch time refuge. The first thing you notice about their Pilipino/Japanese fusion is the smell. Somehow the scent wafts over to your table even before your meal arrives. Couple that smell with the visual presentation and your anticipation really kicks in.Rice bowls are their speciality and we sampled their “Dobo Bowl” the pork had great flavor, the soft boiled egg was a great compliment, and this meal would have been complete if all it featured were the gravy and rice and their “Karaage Rice Bowl” the rice was best described as buttery and the Japanese fried chicken was crunchy, delicious, and had great texture .We also sampled the “Pork Bun” which benefited magnificently from the flavors of the cucumber slices, of all things, and the bun was best described as resembling sweet bread .I also really enjoyed the great lunch hour blend of music they were playing “Nu Flavor” and “Az Yet” and attempting to label it. I felt pretty good with my initial label of “boy band” themed…until songs by Mary J. Bilge and “Total” came on. I eventually settled on “harmonizing vocals“ for my musical label for our visit. We found the service to be super friendly and welcoming. Their Vegan options are limited, but with a few subtractions during the ordering process you’ll be fine if that happens to be your preference .And that’s…Henry’s Take.#sandiegoasianfusion#riceislife
