Panera Bread - San Diego

There is ample parking and convenient drive-thru access. The interior is clean and equipped with tablets for placing orders. There is limited outdoor seating available. The presentation of the baked goods is attractive and easy to browse. They offer a wide variety of sweet and unsweetened teas and coffee. While prices have increased, I would still recommend this restaurant for lunch if the food quality stays consistent. I may consider trying the flatbread during my next visit, especially if there is a special.

There was more cheese than meat in the Smokehouse sandwich, so I do not recommend it. It tasted okay, but I felt like I didn't get enough meat. We ordered 13 boxes for a staff meeting and this will be the last time we order Panera for a staff meeting. However, we did enjoy the chips and cookies.

I am writing this review from the drive-thru, where I have been waiting for 33 minutes. It is Monday, December 13, 2021. I understand that staffing may be short, but now I have no time to eat my $15 lunch. I am definitely not thrilled with the experience. Please update and put more than just a slice in the sandwich!

The Drive-through Experience! So happy to see a Drive-through at Panera Bread!! I ventured 15 minutes away from my normal route just to experience it! It was a little slow, but worth every bite!

Walked in to the smell of cookies, instantly feel very relaxed. Staff very kind and welcoming. Hadn't been to one of these in many years. Definitely will be back. I ordered the kids meal turkey sandwich since I wasn't very hungry. My friend got the broccoli cheddar soup and salad. Everything fresh and delicious.
