Szechuan House - San Diego

It's been here a few times. Love the place and the food. The food is freshly prepared and tastes very authentic. Have tried various delicacies here, but house special fried rice is my go-to order along with Szechuan garlic chicken. Friendly staff.

So good. I've been ordering take out from here for years. Today was the first time eating inside. I'm gluten sensitive so it's really hard for me to have Chinese, but I found a few items for me. I went with my 3 sons and my 2 youngest tried fried shrimp for the first time. The staff is always very friendly.

Great bang for the buck. About $10 for the lunch special is a great value. The interior look needs updating, but the food is good. The wait was short.

Ho Lee Phuk, this food is absolutely amazing! You have to try it and indulge because it's incredibly tasty. Don’t forget to order some hot tea; it's authentic and really enhances your meal. If you like it sweeter, add half a packet of sugar—it makes it even better!

I visited this restaurant for lunch, and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't anticipate such a wide variety of food for just $11. Plus, you can customize the spiciness to your liking.
