Magaly's Tamales - San Fernando

The food was hot and delicious! The service was great! I would definitely recommend this place. I'll eat here again. There is one thing I would offer if I were Magaly... room temperature salsa. The very cold chilled salsa makes food quick when added. Apart from that, everything was excellent.

Magaly's is the meeting place for tasty tamales in the valley. Whether it's a job to carry out or eat (they have a few tables available to eat there) the food is quickly prepared and always tastes amazing. The green salsa is a must and the horchata and agua de jamaica are so good! The staff is super friendly and helpful and the general atmosphere in the restaurant is always welcoming.

We had shrimp tacos, beef tamales and cheese tamales. The food is probably the best Mexican I have had in California.

Another hidden gem in the Osttal. The atmosphere is delightful, and the staff is very friendly. There's also a small fruit and vegetable stand inside, which is quite convenient. I placed my order over the phone, and it was ready when I arrived, which is a definite advantage. I tried a dozen tamales—mixed pork, chili cheese, mixed vegetables, and sweet corn with pineapple. I can't complain at all! The tamales are a good size, and the prices are reasonable. If you find yourself in San Fernando, be sure to check this place out.
