Írjon visszajelzéstWalking by I expect it to be another bougie establishment like Starbelly, but Flore is surprisingly casual. I like what the new chef and bartender are doing with the menu. I usually order the bartender's special. Don't have much of a sweet tooth, so I love for them to get creative with bitters and spices. Drinks are strong and made with freshly squeezed juices. If it's not a bottomless mimosa kinda morning, the organic cold brew coffee will get you going. The nitro cold brew is served on tap, so it's nice and frothy. Kombucha on tap as well. My favorite eats are the spinach frittata and the steak with broccoli chimichurri. I love that they have paleo options. The new staff seem to be working out some kinks when it comes to service, but everyone I've encountered has been friendly and chill, even when it's busy. I've worked in food service and know how disruptive a change in management can be, so I applaud the crew for their teamwork. I don't know if it was the bartender's floral print shirt or the breeze blowing through the open doors, but for a moment I imagined that I was back on Maui at my favorite tiki lounge (minus the cheesy decor). Huge windows let in tons of natural light, and the music is kept just loud enough to dull the conversations around you. The garden patio that surrounds the location is lush with flowers and buzzing honeybees. Nice outdoor setting to smoke some herb, read a book, or people watch w/ your pooch. There's a small stage inside for nighttime entertainment. Last night they had a DJ spinning beats from the 80s 90s. In the back is a single all-gender bathroom. It's clean but a little cramped. Kinda makes you feel like you're in an airplane. Unfortunately this plane doesn't stop on Maui, but I'll settle for a breezy bar, a juicy cocktail, and a chat with the locals about skyrocketing rents!
Great place for drinks with a very spacious outdoor area.
Friendly place and they know how to make good hot tea!
Incredible service and gorgeous patio, the steak panini is phenomenal. Julian is extremely fun and friendly, made my day. I almost went to a cafe across the street and so glad I didn't.
Slow Monday afternoon... $14 **** Mary's: tasty mix, extra heavy on the horseradish, served with no olives or other garnish, but a generous dose of indifferent attitude. Nice setting, but I'd go somewhere else next time.
