Foodee Burger - San Francisc

This place had good food and was conveniently located but now seems to be permanently closed.

We ordered a chicken sandwich, a spicy tuna sandwich, and a breakfast sandwich. The weird thing about this place is that they don't serve beef burgers for lunch. However, their other sandwiches definitely made up for that. The chicken in the fried chicken sandwich was very juicy, and the sauce that they added was delicious. I also recommend the breakfast sandwich. It was juicy and tasted really good with the bacon. The spicy tuna sandwich wasn't as good, but maybe that's because I waited until it got soggy. So a tip for that would be to eat it fast if you order the spicy tuna sandwich. The reason it's not a 5 would be the price.

Always driven past this place and seen it on Yelp and finally decided to give it a try. Came about an hour before closing and there was one table in there that had already gotten their food. We ordered two burgers and two sides of fries. Took 20 minutes when we were the only people in there, but maybe that's a good thing cause they make everything fresh. However, when we got our food, the bag was cold and everything in there was probably no more than lukewarm. Got home after 5 minutes of driving and started to eat, and my patty was cold to the touch. You would expect it to be hot if it was made to order and being the only customers in there waiting for food. Food wise, everything is okay. Nothing too special but not bad

When we stayed at our Airbnb in west portal, we drove by Foodee Burger daily. And finally, we were able to try it, and boy am I glad we did! We arrived around noon on a Sunday, parking could be an issue since I don't think there's a parking lot behind the stores correct me if I'm wrong tho). When we arrived, there was only one other person in the restaurant. I guess people don't have burger cravings on Sunday mornings ? Lol Anyways, we tried the original Foodee burger with garlic fries and sweet potato fries. It took a good 10min at least for food to come out, but OMG these burgers are legit! I know it's greasy, but it was soooooooo good! There's definitely bacon grease in the patties or they cook the patties in the bacon grease, either way, the end result was a super moist Smokey yummy burger! Their Foodee sauce was also very good. Garlic fries were extremely garlicy, not my cup of tea but hubby liked it a lot. Sweet photos to fries was mediocre. Next time I'll opt for the original fries instead. Service was also good, and there's a restroom inside which is clean. Overall, a pleasant experience with one of the best burgers I've had, I'd say Foodee burger is a pretty solid 5 star in my book!

So good!! I have tried their cheese burger, fried chicken sandwich, and fish sandwich, all very well made. My favorite order is probably their cheese burger because they cook it perfectly! All of their sides selections are also very good. They just get the right crisp on their fries so it holds onto the garlic so well
