The menu as written does not do it justice— many creative and wonderfully executed treatments, aging and otherwise. Extremely private and relaxing ambience. Certainly in the top tier in the country.

This was my second time at Akiko's and it was flat out amazing. Quade and Allen made us feel like we were regulars, and they made our experience so enjoyable. The sushi chef told us her story from Japan and she was so sweet. The ambience was second to none and the vibes were just what we were looking for on a Saturday night. Highly recommend and can't wait until they get a Michelin star!

Service was prompt, on time, and all the staff were very attentive. They even went as far as plating things to fit a left-handed vs. right handed person. My drinks were always filled and plates were taken away at the appropriate times. I was really lucky to be seated in front of Chef Matt and to have the opportunity to watch an artist work on his craft. Along with his high skill, he was very knowledgeable and I appreciate that he saw I wasn't such a talkative person and let me eat in peace. The quality of the fish was fantastic and I had some flashbacks to being in japan eating sushi. The dishes were unique in that there were some twists and flavors that I hadn't considered before with traditional sushi ingredients. Thank you for a great dinner!
