Akira Japanese - San Francisco

The food and the wine were delicious! the main disappointment was an hour in our meal, the waitress said just wanted to remind her that we were going to get another party on this table at 19 o'clock and nobody had told us that this would happen! So we had to rush through the bottle of wine we had bought to share and were on the way before we knew.

This restaurant would be highly recommended. such a great little quarter. beautiful sushi at a reasonable price, excellent service and beautiful ambiente. I'm sure next time in sf.

A neighborhood joint that looks inconvenient but with exceptionally good eating.

I've got birthday with my friend. the sashimi was excellent, rolling were spectacular, and the selection was great.

Our go-to sushi walking distance from my house. Fresh wasabi (extra and worth it), great selection of fish from Tokyo (local Uni good enough for us, the Hokkaido not worth the price), lovely staff and regulars.
