Atlas Tap Room - San Francisco

The food was decent, but the service was slow. Additionally, the restaurant was very loud, making it difficult to hear my friends.

We were served by the owner who was charming, engaging, helpful with the menu and even made a substitution for us. My parents really enjoyed their sandwich and soup combo and my power bowl was fresh and plentiful. The Atlas Tap Room is a gem in the SOMA lunch list of options.

This restaurant may be small, but it is very efficient. The food selection is great and everything we tried was delicious. Our waitress mentioned they have some specialty shots available (even though we were there for lunch). I appreciated her enthusiasm and if it wasn't a business lunch, I definitely would have ordered one. Our group had a fantastic time! Thank you for accommodating our large party.

The service, however, was lacking. We were seated promptly but had to wait 10 minutes to receive menus, after other tables that arrived after us. We ordered deviled eggs, which never arrived, and I requested water that was never brought to our table. The wait staff repeatedly mixed up orders and it seemed like we didn't have an assigned waiter. It was difficult to get anyone's attention when we needed something. Overall, the restaurant was nice but the subpar service may prevent me from returning in the future.

Eating was pretty good, but the service was a little slow. it was also extremely loud, so my friends were tensed.
