The 25-piece omakase was absolutely delicious! It was delivered right on time, and the best part is that they offer free delivery for orders over $150, complete with cute individual bags for each omakase. Our cat was quite disappointed to find out that the meal wasn't for him. They are doing an impressive job during the COVID pandemic, and I can't wait to enjoy it again at home—though I would prefer to experience it in person!
It was very intimate; the chef actually refused to see other customers without reservations while we were around to have that one-on-one feel between him and the customer. He explained the dish/seafood, his own comments, and where it came from. We ended up paying a total of around $350 with tax and tip. We got the secret menu omakase and had 20 courses (no dessert) but got 2 extra Santa Barbara uni nigiri (we had to because that was one of the best we've had). Overall, the sushi was great! Definitely high quality and more flavorful than your average sushi place. But was it foodgasm kind of good for that price? Tbh, I'm not sure. I feel like the sushi's potential wasn't fully reached. Would love to come here again though! Also, please be polite and stop at the podium first. Don't just sit down without even asking
Amazing sushi. So delicious! And they change their menu seasonally. Make sure we can get the freshest fish/seafood. Can't wait to dine in again.
Absolutely delicious! I spent a few nights in San Francisco and decided to indulge a little. Making a reservation for one was a breeze, and since the restaurant is quite small, sitting at the bar was a great experience. Every dish was incredible, with the black cod standing out as one of the best things I’ve ever tasted. The chefs were captivating to watch, and we wrapped up the meal by sharing a drink of sake.
