Delicious ‘Pete’s Cheese Steak’! Excellent and friendly service, thanks!

I grew up with parents and uncles who had pizza/sun/deli places on the East Coast. This is the best sandwich spot in the city. The layering is correct, the portions of ingredients are proportionate to the sandwich, everything is fresh, and they make things quick. I discovered this place after living here 14 years and can’t believe it took this long!

Food is ok. The grilled chicken can be pretty dry and tough in the sandwiches and salads. Burgers or deli meats are a safe choice.

Had the turkey club sandwich on a roll here recently and while it didn't stand out compared to some of SF's many great sandwich spots, it's still pretty good and if you have to go to kaiser for something it's a very solid lunch option.

Normally their food are very good But I had food poisoning last time with unknown reason Very bad vomiting and diarrhea for a whole day Went to see my doctor and got some medications to recover for two days I gave three stars because I really like their burgers but no more for me from now on The place is acceptable clean Acceptable services because no services actually will received, all self services deli.
