Rock Japanese Cuisine - San Francisco

This restaurant offers excellent sushi at affordable prices. I have visited several times and have always been pleased with the generous portions and wide variety of choices. The sushi dinner I ordered (chef's choice) included tuna, salmon, mackerel, whitetail, eel, shrimp, crab, and octopus. The California roll with avocado was particularly delicious. I enjoyed two plates of food and a beer for around $45, which was a much better deal than the $17 burger and fries I had at O'Hare Airport on my way here. It was a relief to find a place with good quality food that didn't break the bank.

The food at this restaurant is simply delicious. The lunch special is fantastic and the restaurant is very clean. The service is excellent and it's a great place to bring kids. The prices are affordable, especially for San Francisco.

The portions were huge! I especially enjoyed the grilled squid and unagi don.

The sushi here is AMAZING!! And a good price, does take a bit for the food to come but is well worth it

We’ve visited Chinatown before enjoyed great eating, but this was the best. Occupying the second floor we had magnificent views of the area. But nothing could compare with the food!! We had four different lunch combinations and each was superb- based on our sharing. Do not miss this gem of a restaurant! Wonderful staff.
