Ryoko's Japanese Restaurant Bar

I must say WOW! This place was bustling when I sat down, yet they still managed to refill my hot tea as soon as my cup was empty. The staff provided excellent service and made sure everyone was well taken care of. The sushi is absolutely amazing—make sure to order from their special menu. It's authentic sushi, and you can truly taste the difference. What more could you ask for?

I'd like to share my experience at this restaurant, which boasts a wonderful location and delicious food! The bar is also impressive. There was a fantastic variety of flavors and dishes to choose from. We tried the Big Mama roll, Jumling Unagi (which was delicious), the California Roll, and the Alcatraz. Everything was excellent! The prices were reasonable as well. This was my second visit, and I will definitely return again.

I want to start by saying that the hostess and staff were incredibly friendly. The food and the atmosphere were simply amazing. This place rivals sushi spots in Japan! It's within walking distance from Union Square, and you can easily add your name to the waiting list on Yelp. I'm not sure if this is a recent change since COVID, but I found it tough to find restaurants open late, and Ryoko stays open late. When I visited, there was a DJ playing, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable. I ordered the Jumping Veggie and Shrimp Tempura, and both were fantastic. I returned for a second visit, and it was even better! If you love sushi, you definitely need to check this place out.

Super cool restaurant. Eat delicious sushi while you hear live dj, what is better than that? I strongly recommend rainbow roll. And my fav spicy scallop roll

OMG! Amazing! Recommended bar hotel bartender where I stayed. Decided to check it out on first night after a couple rounds of drinks. The wait was expected, not bad. The owl tree across the street allowed to kill the time. Enjoyed the live music first of all. The beef teriyaki was amazing and did 2 rounds of it (or was I just hungry? . Shrimp and veggies tempura was delicious as well. Had a round of shrimp roll with cold sake It’s a little gem that’s for sure.
