Írjon visszajelzéstMy experience at Udon Mugizo was quite enjoyable. Even though they were out of their signature uni udon when I visited, the smoked salmon dish was a delightful surprise. It was served in a light cream sauce that was flavorful and had a nice depth. The restaurant was busy and there was a wait on a Monday evening, but the atmosphere was cozy. The creamy spinach sauce was surprisingly rich for its light consistency, and the various toppings added a good amount of texture. The udon noodles were cooked perfectly and soaked up the spinach cream well. The smoked salmon was simple but served its purpose as a protein. Overall, I didn't find any major faults with the food, although it wasn't particularly memorable. The prices were reasonable, around $25 including a drink. The seating was limited to smaller tables, making it a good spot for a date night or a quick solo meal.
I highly recommend trying the Sea Urchin Cream Sauce Udon, which I gave a 5 out of 5 rating. This dish is limited to 20 orders per day, so make sure to check if they are sold out before placing your order. The cream soup was thick and rich, giving it a unique and delicious flavor reminiscent of pasta with white sauce. Another dish I loved was the Tempura Zaru Udon, also rating it a 5 out of 5. Despite its intimidating appearance, the dish was straightforward and delicious. Crush the sesame seeds and add the ginger green onions on top, then pour the cold soup over everything and stir. Simply add the udon noodles and enjoy! Even though I am not usually a fan of tempura, the shrimp tempura in this dish was perfectly cooked - light, crispy, and not greasy at all. Overall, I can not wait to come back and try more dishes at Udon Mugizo. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the excellent service, and I highly recommend this restaurant to any udon lovers out there!
The service at this restaurant is excellent. I have been here twice and had great experiences both times. I tried the cold udon and the tempura-soba, and was pleasantly surprised at how filling they were. Despite being busy, I only had to wait around 15-20 minutes for my food. The waiting list system is very efficient and they know exactly when to seat you. It's best to come with a small group as the space is limited, with seating for 2-4 people. The ambiance is also lovely. I will definitely be returning.
Long lines but doesn't take really long. The Udon is pretty good. I ordered the spicy tonkatsu udon and a side of sweet potato tempura. The waiters were very patient and friendly. One thing I'd say I don't like is sitting in the middle and having a see through wall where people can hear your conversations, stare at you and your food lol.
Yummy udon. Sometimes a long line but usually it's been fine. You can always walk around and tour kinokuniya anyways if you're waiting to be seated.Service here is good and the food is great too. Whether the cream udon or niku udon or the others, still so yummy. Apps are great too.Enjoy!
