Yummy Bakery - San Francisco

This is one of our favorite restaurants in China City. They offer some intriguing and distinctive items, like mushroom cheese bread and blueberry bread. The mooncakes are also highly recommended, although we haven't had the opportunity to try them yet.

Eierkuchen is delicious! It has a strong egg flavor and is not overly sweet. The other breads and cakes are also excellent. Don't miss the taro paste bread, it's a must try.

I spent $3 on a prepackaged red bean moon cake from this restaurant. I was disappointed to discover that it was premade when I opened it at home, complete with a silica gel packet inside. It seems they may be reselling these cakes from another source. I've heard they have delicious egg tarts, so I'll have to try those next time instead.

My future daughter-in-law treated us to egg white tarts and pineapple buns. In my opinion, the pineapple buns were the best I have ever tasted. They were absolutely delicious!

I really enjoyed the egg tarts at this restaurant, both the original and the white egg versions. The pineapple bun with BBQ pork was also excellent. The chestnut bun was just okay. The service was friendly and quick. Overall, a good experience.
