The working crew are so incredibly friendly and will do anything to make you feel comfortable, and Sam (the manager) and Jonny (the bartender) just enhance the experience. It’s an upscale joint for sure with one of the best views on the lake.

Best Hotel with the Best view of the Lake and Mountains in San Marcos! Lovely sunbathing/relaxation area. Easy to get into the Lake from the their private beach. Wonderful stay! I highly recommend El Dragon. It made my stay in San Marcos. Really not as expensive as people make out. Would much prefer to stay here. Such friendly staff. Treated me like part of the family.
