Insanely large portions and mixed bag: Starting with the good: the pastrami was not bad and had a lot of melty cheese. It was enough for 2-3 people. The fries were crunchy and hot and a large portion. The gyro is where the review falls over as the meat missed the mediterranean spice flavor and had no crusty caramalized crunchy bits that one craves when ordering a gyro. The weird mayo sauce smothered everything and made things worse. The portion was enough for 2-3 people also. If you are thinking of caramalized lamb beef shaved off of a rotating spit with that caramalized outside delisciousness, this was the opposite of that. The only reason for three stars is the pastrami panini the fries. If this review were based off the gyro alone then zero stars. You have to love what you do for it to come across in the food and this was definitely not the case.
I just went here for the first time. It was not my first time eating this type of food, though. Bit pricey, but when you get your food, you'll understand. It's also quality over quantity. My falafel salad was ginormous! My lamb beef Giro was ginormous! I also got the tiramisa. Chef/owner who knows, was pleasant, some misunderstandings, so make sure you're both on the same page. Will be going back. Expect it to take a minute because it's as fresh as it gets. After I ordered, he went to the back and I could hear lots of cooking and sizzling and cutting noise.
Just get the gyro. Big, juicy, dripping with flavor. A little gem.
LOVE this place, food is fantastic!!! I had the calamari with shrimps, French fries and a salad that it was sooo good. I ordered tiramisu cake and two other desert to try bc why not. And it didn't disappoint me.Place was clean and the chef and stuff are super friendly. 5 out 5 star for this place, definitely coming back.
