Aj's Kitchen - San Jose

The restaurant is currently in its Grand Opening phase, and the service is still working out some issues. I visited on a Saturday with a reservation for a large group. We ordered a variety of Bento boxes and rolls, all of which were delicious, especially the beef teriyaki— the beef was tender and juicy. We also had the sashimi dinner, and we experienced no stomach issues, so the sashimi is definitely good. We plan to return.

The sushi was delicious and offered great value. However, the fried crab wontons were just okay, as they contained imitation crab. The service was very pleasant and friendly.

This is my first 5-star review in months! The service, prices, and food were all outstanding. I’ll definitely be back soon. I ordered the pork ramen and the salmon bento box, and they were both absolutely delicious. I loved every bite! I was also pleasantly surprised to find that the ice cream that looked like wasabi was actually delicious. Highly recommend!

This was our first time trying this place and we will be back. We called in our order for pick up. We were given complimentary soup and salad which was a sweet gesture. My favorite was the spicy tuna roll it was delicious. I didn't care for the Beef Teriyaki, it was thick cuts of beef and they were a little fatty. It wasn't bad by any means but I just prefer thin cut beef that is lean. My hubby and daughter really enjoyed the Philadelphia roll. We all enjoyed the miso soup and salad. Service was friendly and quick so we look forward to stopping by again.
