In-n-out Burger - San Jose

I love getting food from In N Out, and it's because I think it's a bit more fresh than other fast food places. I got the fries and hot cocoa this time around. The fries were freshly made, so they were super crispy and warm. The hot cocoa (with added marshmallows) was good quality for a fast food place, but something that I'd only get if it's raining. This particular location offers a lot of seating, but given how busy In n Out always is, it's definitely hard to find a table for more than 2 people. It's normally super loud, and it does take 15-20 minutes to get your food during peak hours.

Classic burger joint. I used to go here once a week. I've got to start that again. My favorite is a little quirky, but worth the adventure. Instead of a bun, you can get your burger wrapped in iceberg lettuce. It is tasty. Please try it and like it. Be aware that it can get quite busy at lunch and right after the working day. Because it's a fast food restaurant, it's brightly lit and not the cleanest. Can't go wrong with a cheeseburger with onion. I like raw onion but you can get it grilled. I would not recommend their fries because they're really dry and remind me of cardboard. However, animal style fries are alright. I like that for their shakes, you can mix two, or even three flavors to customize your shake. Sodas are standard and they provide free water cups. It's always crowded and there's a line, food takes some time to be ready but they work fast enough to pump out mass orders. I noticed sometimes buying it inside is quicker than drive thru, but it depends on the location. Some locations have ample seating outside.

In N Out is a staple in California and I love the ease of grabbing a consistently delicious burger from here. I came by the drive through to pick up some burgers and fries on the way home. Typically In N Out does a fantastic job with orders and gets my drive thru orders spot on without any issues. The last time I'd stopped by though, they forgot my fries which I unfortunately didn't find out until after my long drive home. That was super disappointing especially after thinking about tasty fries all day and my companion specifically asking me not to forget them ; The burgers were still fine though. I just hope they do a better job of checking orders before giving them out next time.

Our friends come to Seattle for their fav foods and we definitely go to Cali for In-n-Out! A key sign you aren't the only one who loves their burgers and fries are the locals who also pack this place at all hours of the day too. Our go to is the cheeseburger combo with onions. Each order comes out piping hot and freshness is key to all their food with crispy fries. Wish they'd bring this up to our neck of the woods but in the meantime I'll keep going back to Cali!
