Rok Steakhouse Grill - San Jose

First time there and did not know about the Rok . Waiter was very nice and showed me how to peoperly cook my bone in pork chop on the 700 degree stone. My meat was seared perfectly. I enjoyed searing each slice to my liking. I will definitely be back!

First visit and came for lunch traveling from out of state for work. Service fantastic atmosphere pretty great. The meal I ordered, teriyaki bowl, was very salty, and the shrimp was over cooked. My coworkers ordered jambalaya and the poke salad and both really enjoyed theirs.

Friendly wait staff and nice setting. Had the burger, which was decent, but haven't tried the steaks yet. One of the people at our table had the steak previously and said it was ok, but again, not great. Overall, this place is reasonably good and probably a decent option for steak or upscale burgers if you're in the area.

Interesting concept for steaks since they let you cook it yourself on a sizzling stone in front of you. But if I’m paying 60$ for a steak I’d much rather have a profession chef cook it for me lol. So unfortunately, I can’t say that I’d recommend. Would rather pay the same or more to go to a proper steakhouse.

Open now. Had a work lunch, great appetizers, and spicy jambalaya. Friends had the salads, all good food, well prepared and good service. Did not try the hot rock dishes but hear they are the specialities, for next time.
