Spoonfish Poke - San Jose

I absolutely love Spoonfish Pack! It's one of my favorite spots in the Bay Area. They don't skimp on the fish, and their ingredients are extremely fresh. I typically order a regular bowl with white rice, two portions of salmon, a full serving of albacore, edamame, masa go, seaweed salad (which is an extra $1.75), and all the dry toppings except for the chips. I like to add the spicy aioli and Ponzu sauce as well. Today, the bowl was a bit saltier than usual, but it was still delicious. I was disappointed that they didn’t have the miso soup today because I enjoy having that to go along with my raw fish!

While it may be on the pricey side, the generous portion sizes and abundant toppings make you feel like you're getting your money's worth. I really enjoy the sauces they offer, and the fish is of good quality. It's a reliable spot for poke, especially for college students in the area. I usually go for the California Coast, but the Spartan Dream (as pictured below) is also a great choice!

I had an incredible Poke bowl here! Everything was super fresh, and the sauces were delicious with fantastic flavors. I tried the California Coast bowl, and it was amazing. The service was friendly and quick too!

I got a regular bowl and really enjoyed it! Although it is definitely more on the expensive side, you get to add a lot of toppings!
