Írjon visszajelzéstHoly Guacamole I am in heaven! The BF and I came in, feeling indecisive, and the waiter took our tastebuds to happy town with her spot on recommendations. The sampler platter, which included a great selection of tacos, floutas, and jalepenos stuffed with chorizo, was so good, we ordered two! We split the skirt steak and left nothing behind on the plate. The beef was grilled to perfection and I seriously considered licking the plate, I couldn't get enough. Somehow, after all the food, we had room for dessert. Last but certainly not least, the fried cheesecake ended the night on the sweetest note. It was pure art how wonderfully crispy and creamy this dish was. Highly recommend this restaurant!
Mojitos are the best! I also got the quesadilla which was a safe choice for my kids. The beans and rice are seriously amazing! Make sure you make a quick stop here on your trip. It's filled with locals, but they are so nice!
TOURISTS BEWARE!!! Do not go to this restaurant! Had dinner early, 6ish, place was empty. Paid our bill, left a nice tip because we thought our server was nice. We left, 5 minutes later, server was chasing us down the street claiming we had not paid the bill. Someone probably a different staff member stole the off the table. Huge hassle ensues ruined our night. Do not spend on vacation to then run into trouble. Save yourself the trouble plenty of other places to spend your money.
I was in desperate need of pique do you have any idea what it feels like being Mexican and visiting Puerto Rico where you cant find a single bag of hot Cheetos, hot lays, hot fries, hot ruffles not ever tapatio Doritos... Its pure torture... I came to get some tacos bc my taste buds needed mexican and spice. I ordered a taco de bistec, fish and shrimp... Only to get my order wrong... I got one bistec and 3 fish... Bistec didn 't taste like asada total deception what do I expect right? The fish were ok... I also got a consome de pollo which is chicken broth with pieces of chicken and it was so salty.... Aside the fact that it took them like 30 minutes to get our food. I must admit the waiter was really nice... BUT this is NOT authentic Mexican don 't be fooled...
Like other reviewers, we popped into Pancho Villa Casa De Tequilas while waiting for a table at Jose Enrique down the street. We were initially skeptical because of the lack of crowd in the Casa de Tequilas, but needn't have been; not only were the drinks good, but we had a delicious appetizer of queso flambado as well. My only complaint, really, is that I thought the margaritas weren't great for a place that specializes in tequila. Don't get me wrong, they were not bad, but I think you can do better here either drinking the tequila on its own or with a more simple mixer.
