Harry's Hofbrau San Leandro

Love this place! They give great portions and the guys behind the counter are so sweet. My daughter is a teen and loves coming here so that says a lot. Definitely recommend it if you are in the area. Can't beat the portion size and quality of food for the price.

Yesterday I got a corned beef sandwich. It looked good but when I got it home the meat was full of cartilage, tough, like un-chewable and no flavor. It had probably been reheated and reheated maybe for several days. Quality has declined severely but the amount of service people has increased who rush you along to the cash register. For the price it's not worth it at all. I am a longtime customer and really expected more.

I have dined at this restaurant multiple times with friends. The selection of meats is excellent and cooked to perfection. The portions are generous and come with a wide variety of side dishes and desserts. The bar is spacious and the drinks are expertly poured. The servers are attentive and courteous. This establishment is a top-notch Hofbrau restaurant.

Family place. The food is good considering it's a hog brain and it's served cafeteria style. The place is clean but my pet peeve is that with all the trays and plate covers there's never any room at the table.

This restaurant is truly nourishing for the spirit! I have been a fan of Harry's since I was a child, and my love for it has only grown over the years. My favorite dish is the hot open face turkey sandwich. It features perfectly roasted turkey piled high on white bread and covered in rich turkey gravy. Just the thought of it makes my mouth water.
