Menchie's Frozen Yogurt - San Marcos

Many flavors were present, with free samples. the personal was nice and they had inside and outside seats.

We went around 9:00pm, it's self service for anyone who hasn't been before. Several of the machines weren't working, or were just out of product, I can't be sure but the flavors I wanted wouldn't dispense. They do offer a wide array of toppings, and it was fully stocked. The cashier was pleasant and helpful. I gave the rating of 3 stars due to the non functioning machines and the obnoxious prices, it's ridiculous to pay over $22 dollars for 3 yogurt cups. Especially when there's on closer to my home that's unlimited weight for a set price.

Good but sooo expensive! What I really miss are the places that made the froyo creation for you. For that reason I don't think a self serve spot will ever get more than 4 stars from me. In my mind you can't beat an amazing self serve place (try Rockie's down in Linda Vista).

My boyfriend and I come every Wednesday night after D&D, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming even though we show up so close to closing time. The flavors rotate so every week there is something new. I have never seen a dirty bathroom or sticky counter since I?ve been coming here. Their rewards also gives you free yogurt and you can?t be unhappy with free yogurt. Good job, Menchies!
