Tapioca Express - San Marcos

Tapex, it pains me to give this review because we used to come in a lot and my kids got absolutely hooked on the chi chi fries. Unfortunately, the last several times we 've been there, the kitchen has been closed. The sign on the door says it 's open until 630. Today we were there at 445 and again, the guy said the kitchen was closed. I get that things happen and people call out, but today there were two of you, and one of you was sitting in the dining area when we came in. I hope management does read this because I 'm starting to think it 's a The ice cream machine is broken kind of McDonald 's situation.

This is new wish we had this when we went to school here! The whole plaza is new here. The popcorn chicken and boba are great love that there is plenty of parking around here.Food: 5/5

I am sorry to report this place definitely not the same quality as we used to know. Tea quality is bad. Creamer they used is very low quality. Boba is staled and chewy. I hope the manager or owner take notes to improve. Would always love to see a good boba place close by. Too bad.... We dumped the tea out couldn't finish them.

Don't bother. Let this place close down, they need a new owner. Ordered a Thai milk tea and it was all milk with a hint of flavor.

Horrible the drink is so milky and bad the popcorn chicken is so weird the texture is so off putting I don't even want to eat it
