The noodle 21 is always good but to add a spicy salty sour papaya salad to go with it, it is just the right touch. Their Kaosoy with home made pepper will hit the spot for some spicy flavor full noodles.
I really really enjoyed this place. Get the beer, get the soups, get the stirfry, get the apps. Youll love it too :
A little confused right now about what might have happened to me. I haven't been to this restaurant in a long time and was craving so I decided to call in an order today because I didn't want a 3rd party to get their cut from ordering online. For reference, the order was the #23 on GrubHub and the order was for pick up. Wonton Noodles. At the end of the call I asked what the total was and the person on the phone, who I'm assuming is Alex , who's always picking up the calls and who I see from time to time, told me it was $20.05. Paying no mind, I proceeded to go to the restaurant to pick up my order and while paying for my food, I asked why is it so expensive. Alex was not there at this time and I'm assuming that he had to run an errand. The lady that handled my order was confused as to why it was so expensive as well. She also spoke little English and it was hard to communicate. However, the order was just a regular sized wonton noodle soup with mixed noodles. The lady said was it double? I said no. She said extra? I said no but it's mixed noodles. She goes that might have been it but it seems like because of the lack of communication, she just wanted the conversation to end. GrubHub has the item listed for $13.35 and even with the extra noodle option it comes out to $16.69. Mind you, it's just mixed noodles and not extra noodles. Trust me, the box it came in was still as small as a regular sized order. I basically paid DoorDash prices for calling in and picking up my own order. Very disappointing.
Highly enjoyable Lao-Thai styled eatery. My favorites are the Pad Thai, and Minced Shrimp Appetizer. Would recommend
Noodle 21 has added some Laos and Thai infusion. Please come through and support Alex. Had their papaya salad (Laos style) and combination ka piet. Super yummy! New chef and new menu items. Must try!
