The Stockpot In Virg - Sandbridge

My daughter and I went for breakfast, the Dulce deleche french toast was amazing. We came back for Monday dinner ramen…outstanding. The atmosphere is family friendly and the Josh (chef) can throw down. We will be heading there tonight, Wednesday night trivia…can’t wait. When visiting the CA Beach area again, I will be back at The Stockpot.

Very rude store. They kicked my friend out because he wanted to sit outside then seen him on FaceTime with me and rudely said that he couldn’t be on “live” get with the times ppl

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough!! Obviously one of the main things we all search for in a restaurant is delicious food — done and done. The chefs here are fantastic and use super fresh ingredients! The flavors of this bulgogi dish that I had were amazing; in fact, I found myself trying to piece together a copycat recipe to make at home, though I’m sure I won’t come anywhere close : As for the atmosphere and staff: I was blown away! The interior is nearly as inviting as the staff, and it felt more like I was eating at home than at a restaurant. I walked in looking for comfort food, as I was having a really tough day. I was visiting the area on a work trip, when a loved one called to tell me that their mother had passed away rather suddenly. Needless to say, I think the staff picked up on my sullenness and were unbelievably kind. To make my bad day worse, I left my AirPods on a table outside of the restaurant, and hopped on a plane home without them! Over a week later, I called the restaurant to see if they were possibly there, and they were! One of the staff (Emily went out of her way to mail them to me. I am beyond grateful to this place for its comfort, kindness, and deliciousness! Thank you all! And a huge thank-you to Emily!

I’m sorry to post a negative review, however, when you’re spending your money and time at a place, you want it to be serviceable. Over the past 2 years, we’ve had various menu items and have eaten here more than we should have based on previous experiences (we really wanted to like this place! . On 3 separate occasions when we’ve ordered take out, they have forgotten part of our order and when we’ve made that know, they are incredibly slow (like 10-20 min to scoop some soup into a container for us… there seems to be no “on the fly” here . We’ve dined in quite a bit as well and that’s not any better than take out. I ordered a smoothie once and it was sour, they said the premade packs they use for the smoothies must have been bad. We’ve been offered free dessert to make up for them forgetting our food and for having to wait so long and after that kind offer, they even forgot to give us the dessert. Every now and then their chicken noodle soup will be insanely good but everything else is very subpar and it’s a dice roll as to what kind of service you’ll get.
