Jalapeños - Sandpoint

Having Mexican family members and coming from a state with a high Mexican population it’s hard to find good food here in N Idaho. Service was excellent and restaurant was clean. Chips were warm and I have to say the spicy salsa needs more heat. Portions are large but for my taste the Pollo Asada burrito was Americanized. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Service was alright and the food was a different story, I had ordered the shrimp and asked for spicy but they added soooo many jalapeños that thats all you taste, is was so hot that you couldn't even taste the food, then my wife ordered the rolled tacos and while eating them there was a tooth pick left in it and when she bit down the tooth pick jabbed her up in the gums and in between her cheek causing her to bleed. Maybe a little more quality control coming out the kitchen is needed. Probably not going back. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

This was a walk by and decided to try it. The service was good. And the food was even better. I had the deluxe tostadas, and my friend had the chimichangas. Our food arrived quickly and presentation was well done. Walked in with my family tonight (not busy and had 4 adults 2 children and were told to wait a minute after 5 minutes we still were not seated and a family of 6 came in and were seated immediately. Hopefully you don’t treat all customers this way. We also heard the lady in the back saying “where are we going to seat these people at” but were able to seat the same amount of people that came in a few minutes after us? update we went to Rancho Viejo in Hayden and had 4 extra people join us and were seated immediately and were provided great service throughout the night, maybe your servers can go there and learn how to treat customers for the future! : Service: Dine in
