Biryani Hut - Sandton

We were in the mood for Indian food and decided to try this place. The chicken tandoori was delicious, but the garlic naan could have used more garlic.

I would rate this a 3.8. We ordered the butter chicken and prawn korma, along with butter naan. The butter chicken was good, and the portion was generous. The prawn korma was just okay; it wasn't the best I've had, and the prawns didn't have much flavor.

Very good meals from here so far (ordered 3 times), good flavours and variety. Hot is amply hot. Ingredients fresh. Reasonable portions. Will order again!

Ordered the lamb lunch breyani... which was around R60. Very generous portion and delicious. Also ordered the gulab jamun for something sweet after ... highly recommended for any one with a sweet tooth !!

Great little spot I discovered last week while craving breyani. The portion was large and delicious. My food got done very quickly while I waited. The place itself isn't the best looking on the inside, looks a bit run down but nevertheless, food was good. And well priced as lamb dishes are more expensive at other similar spots. Great for takeaways.
