Gorse Farm Chippy - Sandwell

I had the cod and fish at this restaurant and it was absolutely delicious. The service was just as excellent as the food! The staff were attentive and very helpful.

I recently visited a chip shop called G's and ordered a large portion of fish and chips. Despite the current 30% discount, I found the price to be quite high. Unfortunately, the portion size was very small, to the point where I even made a joke about it being 30% off the usual size. I don't plan on returning to this place. I understand that they have only been open for three weeks, so some people may give them a chance, but if they continue to serve small portions, customers may not come back. The staff were friendly, but I still prefer to receive a substantial portion. Based on the pictures, I expected a portion closer to £6, but I have had larger portions from other places serving mini fish.

I have given this restaurant multiple opportunities but have been disappointed each time. The food consistently arrived cold and without sauces, even after confirming the order on the phone. This has been a recurring issue over the past few months. It is frustrating when you call to address the problem and are met with disbelief. Although they did remake the order, this has become a frequent occurrence. It is a shame because this restaurant was excellent before it changed ownership.

How the mighty shop has fallen under new owners.. would of given a minus one if could of. Presentation, taste, manager, all need reviewing.. smallest drumstick i ever seen.. never using again. Need a new chef if thats cooking..

The ownership has changed and the food is awful! I was charged £1.50 for delivery i live 0.2 miles away from the shop. I had to wait an hour for the food to arrive and when it did it was shocking. The picture below is my large fish it was dry beyond belief i couldnt eat it, the picture of the kebab meat is a small meat and chips which was dry and scraps clearly we were served food from the previous day. My daughters chicken nuggets were also dried out. The chips werent too bad so we ate those but unfortunately we all have stomach issues today ! Most definately WILL NOT use this place again.
