Red Lobster - Sanford

To balance the heaviness of the cheesy potatoes, I ordered a plain side of jasmine rice (1 cup). The meal also included sautéed spinach and pickled red onions, but the onions lacked acidity. The dish really needed some brightness, perhaps from a lemon Chardonnay butter or feta/goat cheese instead of the thick, salty American cheese. Additionally, using a shredded or scalloped baked potato instead of the fried potato squares would have significantly elevated the dish from "okay" to "flawless." A smokier barbecue glaze would have also improved it. To finish off the meal, I enjoyed the chocolate wave dessert. Overall, there were some great elements, but a few tweaks could really enhance the experience!

Our department had lunch at Red Lobster just before Christmas 2022. There were eight of us in the group, and we were seated just before noon. We enjoyed the festive atmosphere and were excited to dive into the menu. The service was prompt and friendly, making us feel welcomed right away. The seafood was fresh and flavorful, and everyone had something different to try. Overall, it was a delightful experience that set a cheerful tone for the holiday season.
