I volunteered at an event for Sandra, and it was a disappointing experience. She was incredibly rude, not just to the volunteers but also to her own staff. I witnessed her yelling at her employees in front of customers for not giving her enough attention. She belittled and demanded too much from the volunteers, and when I decided to leave, she told the remaining volunteers that I had run off and implied they couldn’t handle the situation. In my opinion, she should not work in a customer-facing role. I certainly wouldn’t spend any money in her establishment, especially since it’s clear she doesn’t appreciate the people who help her.

There are no better donuts anywhere in the world. Everything they offer tastes incredible. The prices are great and well worth the journey I make from Randolph County. I can't wait to come back soon!

There’s nothing 'made from scratch' here. About 90% of the items available are stored in freezers at the back. This is what you’re really eating—along with water and yeast. The cupcakes often come frozen (usually still frozen when you pick them up), and if you order chocolate cupcakes, they’re typically made from a Duncan Hines mix or another product from Dawn (like muffin mix). The doughnuts are filled with fillings straight from a 5-gallon bucket (also from Dawn). Everything you get from Sandra’s is either sourced from this company, dawnfoods.com (which sells their cheapest products), or purchased from a store and displayed as if it were baked on-site. If there's a shortcut available, even if it isn't the most sanitary, she will take it. I believe it’s misleading and wrong to advertise 'made from scratch' when it’s really just donut mix, water, yeast, and a deep fryer, making everyone in this town think otherwise.

The best donuts in the city! They are always fresh, incredibly soft, and perfectly crisp. We absolutely love coming here and wouldn’t choose anywhere else.
