Cooked and co. - SANS SOUCI

Love this local. Great coffee and simple wholesome food. Love the bacon and egg roll on soy and linseed instead of brioche...so so yum and filling.

A tiny and very underrated cafe in the burbs of Sans Souci. There's not much seating here but it's worth the wait! They really stick by their motto fresh, wholesome, food.<br/ <br/ Those spiced tomatoes with the tart vinegar of the pickled vegetables it the Shakshouka Brekkie just have your mouth watering with each bite. The pita sprinkled with those golden sesame seeds and oil is just yum!<br/ <br/ The toasted brioche bun is fluffy and delicate. The eggs are drooly. The bacon is crisp. Perfect portions in the B&E!<br/ <br/ The coffees were made perfect, even the almond milk latte. No lumps, no curdling. The caramel milkshake was spot on. It has a burnt caramel taste that didn't taste like it came from a syrup jar.<br/ <br/ It's been a while since we've been here but I can't wait to go back.

The food at this restaurant is incredibly delicious. I enjoy everything they serve, especially the porridge in winter and the Fat brekki. The muffins they bake fresh daily are also exceptional.
