Kaizen Shabu - Santa Ana

The waiter was incredibly helpful! Since I had never tried Shabu Shabu before, he took the time to explain everything to me. He also assisted me in choosing two delicious broths—tonkatsu and creamy vegetable—and the best cuts of meat. It was definitely worth every penny for the three of us! The owner stopped by as well and was very friendly. I will absolutely come back! The Takoyaki and Gyoza appetizers were also fantastic.

This restaurant offers great prices, and the quality of the food is decent for the area, especially when compared to a traditional Shabu. The staff is wonderful. For a health-conscious individual, the portion sizes are reasonable, but they're generous enough to satisfy even the hungriest of appetites. Overall, it’s a lovely experience; perfect for a date indoors and family gatherings outside.

I had my first experience at OC Shabu here, and it was fantastic! The restaurant is situated in a creative area of Downtown Santa Ana, with plenty of street parking available nearby. I chose the spicy broth and the combo meat, which included 5 ounces of pork and beef. Next time, I would opt for the "release" option, as it offers a lot more food and allows you to choose two broths. The beef was excellent, but be sure not to leave it in the broth for too long. The atmosphere was lively, and the staff were very friendly. I can’t wait to go back!

It's soooo good here! The Tom Yum is delicious, the chicken wings have so much taste I can?t even describe them. ????? very impressed, super clean, cool art work in the hallway. Great Japanese whiskeys too.

Friendly owner. The meat quality doesn't seem as good as other places. Got the kobe and wasn't as soft as I'm used to. Prices are also pretty high. Get the chicken wings, those are good and juicy.
