New York Slice Deli Oc - Santa Ana

I ordered the classic pastrami, and it was disappointing. I'm not sure how this place has a 5-star rating, as it certainly doesn't offer the quality you'd expect from a New York deli.

This restaurant serves the best sliced bread sandwiches in Orange County. The shredded lettuce is essential, and they use high-quality bread and ingredients. The sandwiches are delightfully messy yet perfectly crafted without being overly chaotic. It's the kind of place where you can order their sandwiches just as they come, with no need for any modifications.

If you're looking for a fantastic spot for deli items, subs, or sandwiches, this is the place to go! I've visited three times and have consistently ordered the Italian sub, which is absolutely delicious! I haven't tried any other subs yet, but I imagine they must be just as good. My next choice will be the Italian grinder. While there isn’t much seating inside—though they do have some tables and chairs—it could use some organization to make it more comfortable for diners. It seems like the air conditioning might not be functioning well, which could explain the need for improvement in that area. Overall, I highly recommend checking out this place for their tasty subs and sandwiches. I rated the atmosphere a 3 because it could use some tidying up, and the AC definitely needs attention.

It seems very clean and I love you can see what they are making right behind the counter.I've tried only two of their amazing sandwiches on the menu (and there are tons of options) and both have been delicious. I've had the Italian and the Roast beef dip...I highly recommend them, I am sure everything by on the menu is as equally delicious though.
