We stopped here on our way to Cal Poly because we're from New Jersey, and my daughter loves the empanadas we get from our local restaurants. Since there aren't any places near her that serve them, we decided to try two dozen different empanadas from here. They were absolutely incredible! I would definitely recommend this place.
The coffee and food are fantastic. However, the loud rock and roll music in the morning can be quite off-putting; it really creates an intense atmosphere that might scare some customers away. Perhaps some soothing Lofi music would be a more welcoming choice to start the day? Apart from that, the staff is great, and the menu is impressive. It’s just a bit overwhelming with the drum solos as soon as you walk in!
The empanadas here are fantastic and reasonably priced. I particularly enjoy the mushroom filling. Plus, you can also find craft beer in the same location. Food: 5/5
How did I live here so long without knowing about this gem? They have a wide selection of tasty morsels and the prices aren't bad. We sat outside in the pleasant patio area and tried a variety of empanadas and every single one of them was delicious. The bad? There are three tiny parking spaces, and if they are taken you may have to circle the block a few times until a spot opens up on the busy street. That's it, my only complaint. It can be hard to find, and I'm good with that. If too many of you start showing up I may not be able to find a parking space.
