Insomnia Cookies - Santa Barbara

I've been wanting to try Insomnia Cookies for a while, and when I stumbled upon this location, I knew I had to stop in... and then I returned the very next day. I sampled the vegan birthday cake, chocolate chunk, and double chocolate chunk cookies. They were exactly what I expected: a bit oily, not the freshest, and slightly warm, but strangely, I enjoyed them. They aren’t gourmet or groundbreaking, but I love the concept and the fact that I can grab them (or have them delivered) pretty much any time of day.

We might have just been really hungry that night, but we absolutely loved the vegan cookie! It had the perfect texture—soft on the inside and bursting with flavor. We also appreciated the late opening hours (we definitely took the name “Insomnia” quite literally, hehe)! Just one suggestion: considering the price, the cookies could be a bit larger! I’m happy that Insomnia offers some vegan options. I tried the double chocolate chip cookie. It was pretty good, but I think it could be even better!

The chocolate chunk cookies are soft and well balanced. The vegan birthday cake cookies were not available but looked good. The staff didn't seem too sure which cookies were available before checking at the back with every customer.

Satisfied my cravings! i went in (didn’t have them delivered) and they were warm and yummy as expected
