Best Mochi Donuts in the Bay Area. Made to order fresh and hot. Most mochi donuts places, the donuts are already made and who knows how long they have been sitting out for. I've had my share of hard, day or two old donuts and this is not that place. They make them to order. I was in heaven getting these fresh, hot, chewy mochi donuts right out of the oil. Can't beat it. Loved them and will be back over and over again.

A donut shop that fries freshly made donuts on the spot.Pondering-shaped donuts are dipped and seasoned and served immediately.It's chewy and very delicious!I ordered black sesame and mirikai (citrus flavor), both were delicious.There are no seats inside the store, so you'll have to sit outside on the terrace.

I brought back 1 Dozen of these treats and everyone who took a bite agreed these are some of the best donuts ever. My friend was so sad when the Irvine location closed. Luckily there's one in Santa Clara for all you Socal people coming up to visit!

I love their donuts! They make them only when you order. Really fresh with crispy outside and nice chewy inside.

The only place I will go to for mochi donuts. Donuts were made fresh every time, literally after I placed an order they go straight to the fryer and make your order. Flavors are so good, lilikoi and pandan are personal favorites. And the ube latte is the best in the area!! The people working there are also so incredibly nice and charismatic, it's just a fantastic experience every time. Modo has a forever fan!
