Aomori - Santa Clarita

Meeting DK was a true pleasure! Beyond the delicious food, this charming little spot has a unique character that adds to the experience. I'm grateful that this place stays open late to satisfy my sushi cravings at 10 PM. It's a small local business that we will definitely be supporting in the future!

We were searching for some great sushi nearby and came across this small restaurant, which had great reviews. We decided to give it a shot, and we were not disappointed! The place is cozy, the chef is very friendly, and the food was fresh, quickly prepared, and absolutely delicious. We tried the dragon roll and tempura shrimp roll, along with a bowl of seafood udon. Yum!

After a disappointing experience at another sushi restaurant, my brother and I set out to find a genuine sushi place to claim as our favorite. We tried several options, but ultimately, Aomori was the one that truly impressed us. The food is the best I've had in its category, and the service is incredibly friendly without feeling forced. As long as DK is in the kitchen, I know I’ll be enjoying every visit!

Gem of a little restaurant. Chef/Owner DK is simply amazing. He always has a great selection of top quality fish. Flavors are outstanding but not overdone like some Americanized sushi joints. DK keeps it simple to allow you to really experience each fish's unique flavor. I highly recommend this place. Best sushi I have ever had.
